Twenty-two rooms, an olive grove, a table lit by fire — a Portuguese country house reimagined for the traveller who prefers to stay a week.
Set among 14 hectares of vineyards and cork oaks in the Alto Douro, Haven is the private country home of the Mendes family — opened to a small number of guests each season, and cared for as though it were still just ours.
